Read profile →Jane Seruwagi Nalunga is an expert on trade, tax and investment related issues in general and the multilateral, bilateral, regional and national trade and investment policies and Agreements in particular. She has more than 20 years of experience in policy research, analysis and advocacy and has authored a number of policy-oriented studies and articles.Jane sits on a number of national policy making bodies; and advises government and Parliament on trade, tax and investment-related matters. She is a member and actively participates in a number of networks at national and global levels.She holds an Honors Bachelor of Arts degree in History and English Language (Makerere University); a Diploma in Education from Makerere University; and a Masters of Arts (M.A) in African History from the University of London. She is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ACIS) and currently the Executive Director of SEATINI-Uganda.

He provides strategic leadership and oversight to programmes on regional integration, trade governance, and sustainable development. His work integrates policy analysis, research-driven advocacy, and strategic communications to advance equitable trade, strengthen multi-stakeholder engagement, and promote inclusive economic transformation.

Read profile →Hilda Tumuhe is a Public Finance expert specializing in research, policy analysis, governance, and advocacy for economic justice. With extensive experience in budget analysis, fiscal policy formulation, regional integration, and natural resource management in Africa, she currently serves as a Program Officer for Debt and Aid. In this role, she supports reforms in global financial architecture to ensure sustainable financing for development in the Global South. Hilda is also dedicated to promoting transparent and equitable management of Tax, Aid, and Public Debt revenues in the East African Community to drive socio-economic transformation.
She holds a Master’s degree in Economic Policy Management and a Bachelor’s in Statistics from Makerere University. Hilda has also been trained in Public Investment Management (PIM-COE) and Public Expenditure Accountability by the World Bank. She has authored and contributed to several publications on fiscal policy, including those examining the intersection of tax, debt, gender, and climate change.
